On 2.20.2008 a workshop "The challenge of teaching programming: What educational software for different age groups?" took place at the Museum of Technologial Industry in Vienna (Austria).

The lecturer Martin Huber and the participants, ICT teacher at Austrian vocational high schools, discussed the fundamental didactic problems of teaching programming. The SCHOOL version of CeeBot4 and its schoolbook served as the departing point of a discussion on what a dedicated programming environment should look like and how it can be adapted to the different age groups.
